About Eduardo Balbona, M.D.
Dr. Eduardo Balbona received his M.D. from the Medical College of Georgia and completed specialty training in internal medicine at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Balbona has served as a Naval Officer and Physician at the U.S. Capital's Office of the Attending Physician providing medical care to prominent officials including the members of Congress and the Supreme Court.
Dr. Balbona is dedicated to community service and has served on multiple boards including those of the Baptist Health System Foundation, the American Cancer Society, and The Wellness Councils of America. He has extensive experience in internet based medical resources. He developed and served as Medical Director for the Guide of Health website and publications. As the Chief Medical Officer of HealthScreen America, he provided oversight for the company's internet services and diagnostics.
He is an experienced public speaker and has been a member of the speaker's bureau for Eli Lilly and Merck and a delegate to the Florida Medical Association. Dr. Balbona has served as the President of the Wellness Councils of Florida, promoting health and wellness initiatives among companies and organizations throughout the state. He also contributes as an author and editor for H Magazine in as well as an Associate Medical Director and lecturer for Community Hospice of NE Florida.
Dr. Balbona is an advocate of evidence-based medicine, with an emphasis on disease prevention and health promotion through education and a proactive approach to life long care. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
He is a founding participating physician for ClienteleHealth, LLC, an innovative new company devoted to improving access to quality medical care. He also continues to actively practice medicine in a private internal medicine practice in his home of Jacksonville, Florida.
